Oak Squate

Description

Oak ‘squate’ (obviously) turned on a pole-lathe. Selected to be made from quartersawn oak, this has created these lovely circular medulary rays in the middle of the square form. This has now received an urushi finish to really bring out those rays and celebrate the tool marks. Approx. 4.5″ diameter.

(Care Instructions – No dishwashers, no microwaves, and avoid metal scourers and soaking for long periods of time. Urushi also degrades in direct sunlight so store in the shade)
